Traci L. Schmalle, OD, LLC - Independent Doctor of Optometry


	Dear Wal-Mart Optical Administrator: I would like to bring to your attention the wonderful job Dr. Schmalle is doing at your Wal-Mart store located at Veterans' Memorial Highway in St. Charles, Missouri. I have been going to this location for my eye examination and glasses for over fifteen years because of the expert care I receive. Last year on my visit Dr. Schmalle advised me to see a specialist when I return to my home in Florida. I took her advice. The ophthalmologist I went to did not perform an exam as complete as Dr. Schmalle. (By the way, the ophthalmologist charged me quite a bit more.) I want you to know how pleased I am with this dedicated doctor. She is caring, affable, and above all, professional. Her warm greeting and excellent interpersonal communication skills set the tone for the visit. She progresses through the exam professionally leaving no stone unturned. I feel she takes a genuine interest in my welfare; I am grateful for the care I receive from her. 	I just wanted to write a note and say thank you to the Wal-Mart optical shop. I recently came in for the first time for an eye exam. My six year old son was with me. The staff was great - from the front in the optical shop to the man working in the doctor’s office and your great doctor. I want to thank your staff for making the special effort to include my son. He loved getting to see how all of your gadgets work and why you do the tests you do. I think people are quick to write comment cards about complaints. Sometimes there seems there is more negative experiences than positive. Your extra effort stands out. Thank you. I will be sure to pass it on to my friends and family. - K. A.
